My iPsy bag subscription is one of the best investments I have made in my overall skincare/make-up regimen. Other than the basics (foundation, concealer, eyeliner, and an eyebrow pencil) this bag provides me with all of the chic and new make-up finds that I didn’t know I needed. Check out my July bag and review below:
I really love that for $10/month I get a fun, quirky new bag. This month was different since it had the ‘ipsy’ logo.
Product Name: BeFine Food Skin Care
Review: I reallly like this brand simply because it is is vegan and never tested on animals. All of their products are inspired by nature and designed to make the most of nutritious power hitters like pomegranates, almonds and avocados. I’ve really been paying more attention to my nighttime skin care routine (which should always incorporate A LOT of moisture!) My skin gets super oily, and I’ve found that when I moisturize with this at night my make-up continues to have more of a matte look for the rest of the following day.
Brand: ML Cosmetics
Product Name: Felt Tip Eyeliner in Emerald Isle
Review: This is definitely an eyeliner I would have not went out and purchased on my own, but now that I have it, I’m interested in using this for a weekend look (this product is definitely not for your typical 9-5 make-up look). Umm and I love this brand even more because it was created right in my hometown of South Florida! I will definitely be checking this brand out to see if I want to purchase anything else from this line!
Product Name: Meet Matt(e) Trimony Eyeshadow in Matt Kumar
Review: Lately, I’ve been pretty boring with my eyeshadow choices. Neutrals and a splash of gold is usually what my nighttime look consists of, I won’t even think about putting on eyeshadow during the week either. However, I do like this product, the color is an ultra-matte cranberry and will be a perfect color to use to transition in my crease. The texture is super velvety and the product applies beautifully.
Brand: Sedona Lace
Product Name: Synthetic Blender – EB 13
Review: I’ve definitely been in need of a new blending brush, and lucky me I received one that I’ve heard a lot about from a few popular beauty bloggers!
- Blends, contours and highlights powders or creams
- Is Oh-so-soft and dense synthetic bristles
- Is 100% vegan and hypoallergenic
Product Name: Hangover Replenishing Face Primer
Review: I’m REALLY leery of Face Primer’s because, as I said before, my face is extremely oily. The usual ‘face primers’ do not work for me. I have to go the non-conventional way and use Milk Of Magnesia to keep my make-up matte throughout the day. However, I’ve read the reviews on this primer in particular and I’ve heard nothing but great things. This primer brings the brightening benefits of coconut water = good hydration! The only thing that scares me is it talks about giving you a ‘dewy’ look. The word ‘dewy’ is a person with oily skins worst nightmare! However, I’m excited to test this out!
